Daily Yopp! 4.26.17 No Tax Returns, No Budget

California Senator Dianne Feinstein, noted for her bipartisan politics, recently came out with this statement:

President Trump’s so-called tax proposal is devoid of detail. One thing that is clear: It’s little more than a massive tax cut for the rich.
Changes to our tax code should lift up average Americans, not be a windfall for corporations and the rich.
Before we can consider the proposal, Trump must release his tax returns so we know whether his proposals are designed to benefit him.

I love this! As many of you know, I had an opportunity to meet with Senator Feinstein last week. I'm still trying to figure out where her true alliances lie, but based on that meeting and her recent activities, I am increasingly hopeful that she is dispensing with her politics as usual stance and beginning to emerge as one of Congress's strongest voices against White House corruption.

Today's Yopp! continues with our plan to deluge our MoCs' offices with calls and emails in the final days of Trump's first 100 days. Please call your Senators and Representatives and ask them to go along with Feinstein's proposal. Before any discussion or debate about the President's budget proposals begin, he must release his own tax returns.

No Tax Returns, No Budget. Period.

Go, Dianne, Go!

Yours in Solidarity.

  1. Sorry Kris ~ I haven't kept up with your politics since your notifying me on FB about eliminating me. What I will say is that I am so very happy for and proud of Caitlyn Jenner. She did what she wanted and also stood by her own opinions. I was so concerned for her when she was so under pressure to change according to the all views of her "supporters" but she knew herself and stood by it. What a strong woman! I also enjoyed the Nat. Geo. Special January Edition and keep it handy for referral. I am hoping the LGBT group is able to solidify terms and even trim it a bit. Especially hoping that the extreme rights fundamentalists start accepting science and the fact that the world is round . . . But then it would also be nice if all in Congress would do the jobs they were elected to do also. So much finger pointing and to do that 3 Xs as many fingers pointing right back. I think you would be surprised at how many of those in middle America that voted for Trump would also support equal rights for all citizens as stated in the Constitution. The reason Trump was voted in was because he was the only candidate for change. All others were variations of politics as usual. Together, with all elected to Congress acting, honest debates and compromises can work for the betterment U.S. The voters can then stand up for all people and deny small power groups from splitting the interests of all.
