According to unverified reports, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is no longer taking calls on his office phones and may be blocking his fax numbers as well. I can't verify that, but I can confirm that people have not been having much luck talking to a real person in his office for awhile. He has been filmed turning away citizens who showed up to deliver petitions objecting to defunding Planned Parenthood. He also recently brought in legislation that will fine any legislator who films House floor activities, and back in June he declared the House in recess and turned off the C-SPAN cameras when a group of representatives led by the Honorable John Lewis staged a sit-in to protest the GOP's inaction on gun legislation.
Based on what we do know, it's fair to say that Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is not a defender of free speech and open debate! It is time we get a message through to this man. He may not like what we have to say, but his job is to hear it whether he wants to or not.

One postcard campaign is encouraging people to target his house. I'm on the fence about that. Use your own judgement.
WISCONSIN DISTRICT 1 RESIDENTS: Your voice should matter the most to Paul Ryan. Be sure he knows that you are constituent and that you expect him to listen to the people. If you can, show up at one of his offices and demand answers!
